Journal entry for 4th week of February
This week was a rather exciting week with the play going on and stuff. The play was rather impressive I should say, and the villain really potrayed his evilness well, along with his sidekick, the head of the minions who managed to burst out laughter among the audience with his silly actions and words. I have to admit that the play on that day was much better than the rehersals. The stage hands were fast enough in changing those pops and made the play less draggy than most classes. The only downfall was that they are not loud enough, causing some confusion among the audience as they do not know what was going on. When compared to strong classes like 5 Batai, our actors and actresses are not as good as them in aspects like facial expression and acting out their respective role. Overall, the play was still good because it also includes the participation of the audience who supported Valdimir. So, let's just cross our fingers and wish that we will win this.

Just when I thought I can finally get some rest after finishing all those homeworks, here comes exam. However, i couldn't pay much attention to it because I have to prepare for my piano exam as well. This week I read a book The Pearl by John Steinbeck that talks about a Mexican man Kino who found a great pearl and the changes it brought to him. The pearl was suppose to bring great wealth and make his future better but it did not do so, and instead had caused him to commit several murder and caused the death of his son, Coyotito. It suddenly dawned on me that things always happen for a reason, some may be a blessing in disguise and may be a "curse" in disguise.
Have I told you I became a fan of Sherlock Holmes lately? The modern BBC version of Sherlock Holmes trades in traditional Sherlock Holmes’ famous deerstalker caps for a fine selection of borderline-hipster scarves and modern Dr John Watson tends labors over a blog rather than a journal, but the signature qualities of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic — quick wit, dynamic dialogue, fast-paced adventure — remain intact and come to life in ever more brilliant detail.

Journal entry for the 2nd week of February.
A week had past just in the blink of an eye. Homeworks after homeworks and tuition after tuitions was all I remembered. Amidst my busy timetable, i still manage to catch a movie, War Horse with my friend. War horse was about a horse that was sent to war and his owner trying to find him back. The beautiful landscape and horse definitely made the movie more worth watching. Despite the supposingly sad storyline, I still manage to find a few funny scene between the English and the Germans who tried to free the horse who got tangled in the barb wires when they were having a short break during war. The friendship or more of a bond between the animal and his owner was so strong that they survived the war and found each other. This movie made me realize that war was mothing but destruction to the people and i'm glad that we now live in a war free era.
journal entry for 1st week of February
Chinese new year was suppose to be a carefree one and you just wait for those red packets to come to you, but my one was totally the opposite. Five consecutive days of volleyball practise and no red packets? If you think your had a bad chinese new year, have mine then. I went for the MSSS the following day and the torturing thing is that you have to wake up very early just to catch the bus. Te competition was truly exciting. The intensity of the game, those shoutings form the supporters, the close score... the feeling of being there was undescribable. It was as though your heart was going to stop any moment now. Unfortunately, we only came out as first runner up. Everyone was definitely down for not emerging as champions but we were still grateful we got a silver medal. Things go back to normal as i go back to school, and there was piles of homework to catch up on. When i reflect on what happened over the week, I realized that I did become tougher in facing stress and pressure.

Night without end article
I was given the task of following the Marines to retrieve a highly
confidential mechanism no matter what it takes. The whole incident took place
at the Greenland ice-cap where we were informed that a British Airways
passenger plane had crashed in the middle of polar ice caps, 640 kilometers
north of Artic Circle.
As the aircraft closed in on coast of Baffin Bay, I witnessed a
situation where a man tried to persuade a man who seems to be the villain. The Marines were approaching them slowly in hope
of trapping the murderer unaware but he noticed he was in danger and grabbed a
lady hostage with him into the tractor and drove away. The next thing we saw
was the scientist, Dr. Mason trying to chase the tractor as it started to lose
control and eventually crashed into some big rocks. The murderer, Smallwood while
holding onto Margaret, an air stewardess, slipped and fell into the crevasse.
Just then the aircraft started shooting toward those men who were believed to
be Smallwood’s cohorts as they ran for shelter. From afar, I saw Dr. Mason
threw a rope down the crevasse. Just so quickly, he made an unexpected move in attempt to cease
control over the murderer. There was a long struggle in the pit I found out
later as Dr. Mason had fell on top of him and contended with all his might to
weaken him. I felt movements in the ground and vibrations. The ice was moving
and the crevasse looked to be closing. Jackstraw, another scientist had
successfully pulled Margaret up into safety as well as Dr. Mason moments later.
So, Smalwood was trapped in the crevasse begging to for a rope. Jackstraw threw
a coil of rope down and stepped back. The mouth of the crevasse closed
swallowing the murderer to his end. It was finally over, the struggle for
survival. The survivors were treated and given plenty of rest. The heroic act
of the scientist in the polar ice-cap were lauded and given due recognition for
their courage and critical thinking that made their survival possible.

January Journal Entry
December went by in a blur and in a blink of an eye, it's already January 2012. Every year must start with a fresh new list of things-to-be-achived list so it is as following:
1. Get a straight A+ for this year's SPM
2. pray hard that the 2012 apocalyse doesn't happen
3. Improve my volleyball skills
4. Do something out of the norm once in a while
5. I need to cure my addiction and obsession towards korean things
6. I need to spent lesser time facebooking and browsing the web
7. I don't know what to write anymore...
Anyway, i'm receiving way too much of shocks at the start of the year. First, volleyball mssd in January? Thats 100 times shocking than anything. Secondly, lots of holidays and angpaus? i don't mind getting a cardiac arrest for this kind of shock.. Thirdly, I get to have a room of my own? What's gotten into my parents lately? Fourthly, my favourite korean boybands not coming this year? Why? I've saved money for this! enough of shocks and lets continue with my Chinese New Year. The same old thing year after year... Going to my grandparent's house, hear some nagging, eat some ( my 'some'refer to a few boxes) cookies and enjoying myself, bla bla bla... but the exciting part is to count how much money you got at the end of every visit, then we would like "why this auntie give only RM 5? my mom gave her children RM10" and all those complaining about how rude were her children during our visit or complementing how nice they are. But then again, money does make the world go around by it can't do many things as heard in Jessie J's Pricetag that cleary shows that money is not everything. A good health or family relationship are proceless and could never buy it with money.
